First time player which one to buy?
Can someone give me a quick run down on this and Shelter 2? I really would like to purchase one but cant really find any concrete info on them to make my decision. I would do a typical play through one time with some side content if any, im not the type to play over and over but i do want the full experience.

Any other threads or useful info is nice.

Do you refer to whether game you should purchase (first)? I can say Paws was my very first game from that Shelter series and I entirely enjoyed it, every aspect of it and played about 5 or 6 times already. The game is relatively short as you may finish it if rushed in just afew hours, however there are many thngs to explore, few different endings and good amount of achievements which will keep you busy :pawscub1: It's a nice, peaceful and emotional little journey with pretty sweet and unique visuals.

I havent' played any Shelter game yet, but I have the first one (where you play as a moma budger). Even though Paws is a 'Shelter 2 game' as description says, it's still pretty much standalone experience and just appears in the Shelter 2 Universe.

Decide for yourself.

I think if you want free range and more understanding of the story of Paws, you should get shelter 2, then Paws, or if you want the feels in only one path, choose shelter.

Both are really good games :)

Shelter 2 is an open-world game where you can explore the lovely scenery with your lynx babies, (which you can name anything you like,) and even though at the end (spoilers,) the babies grow up and leave, the game reminds you that you are never alone, as when you wake up from a small nap you follow the stars and you meet up with another lynx, the two of you becoming fast friends.

(also, there is a chance to see the lynx babies again, because in real life lynx usually tend to live by their mothers.)

The original shelter has a sad ending, but in my opinion this game has a happy ending.

Paws is more of a level driven, (like shelter,) game, except instead of a lynx mother, you play as the mother lynx when she was a baby :3.

You get swept away by a river, away from your family and siblings. You meet up with a bear cub and the two of you try to make it back home together.

I say both games are really good. I say get Paws if you want a more shelter-ish story with a nice ending, and get Shelter 2 if you like exploring and sweet sentimental endings.

I recommend to buy shelter2 first, just to understand the story better (im not giving any spoilers, but one specific thing makes Paws and Shelter2 specialy conected) But you can buy Paws first, if you prefer linear games.
