Especially on weekends it is often the case that 10-20 people are on the EU server (yes, these are also few, but you have relaxed matches and fun).
In Germany we have one streamer where have "a lot" of Viewers where still play Z1 with him on Livestream. Maybe he comes online today too. Last Weekend we had 30 Guys in Solos and 15 Teams in Duos and it was fun.
But of course, don't expect too much. It really depends on what time you get in and yes, Z1 is no longer heavily used. If I take myself as an example, I play almost every day and have cool fights and fun with other guys.
Don't disconnect just because you got a lobby where there are only 1 or 2 players in. Only if you stay on the server (including other players) will the lobby fill up which should be logical. It will no longer be the case that you come into a lobby that is full of players, that is also the truth and fact.
Just try to enjoy also fights against 1 or 2 Players and stay on the Server, then other guys will follow too.
I play in 10-20 lobbies every day (also had often 30+ Lobbies) and everyone has fun together.
Yes, that's very little compared to the past, but I emphasize again that everyone who still plays it have fun (almost familiar). When the guys from China play 5s, there are often 20 teams (100 guys on the map) where you can join in at any time with friends or join a group (it doesnt matter if you not speak chinese)
In my eyes, many simply play at the wrong time. There are also more streamers who play H1 to show "hey, it's still being played and we're having fun together, come in too". "New" games just bore me because it's always the same old stuff and just rehashed and mostly totally overpriced.
In my Opinion the expectations that many people have of H1z1 are simply far too high. EVERYONE knows that the existing H1z1 will no longer have any hype. but the servers are still online and the more people play, the more entertaining it will be for everyone again, that ez.
I'd rather play personally with 20-30 people on a server than with lobbies in other games where there are only people who play games to make as much money as possible on Twitch, but can't identify with the game itself (or the genre) or as we like to say in Germany "going with the flow " .
Same is with Music and other ***.
Streaming kill the View Count bec the most go with the Flow and not bec they like Game XXZ.
