Game not even starting....
I just bought the game, and when I click play the little grey box that says "preparing to run" pops up for like 1/10th of a second and then nothing happens. It doesn't appear to be running in my Task manager either. Clicking the Desktop short cut doesn't do anything either, and running the launch pad just tells me that it MUST be started from steam. I already re-installed twice and checked the integrety 3 times.

Same problem here. The game worked fine when they are just 1, now i got this same issue.

Yep, same problem. Running on Win 10. Some games just will not work. Checked everything.

Firewall setting shows H1Z1 is allowed.

This is utter bogus.

Browse local files through Steam library, find H1Z1 application, right click, goto properties, then compatibility, and you MUST check the box that says "Run as Administator"

After, Locate the LaunchPad .exe and do the same as above.

This totally work for me and allowed the game to start.

Open up the CMD type "sfc /scannow" this should fix it no quotes.

I just played, took a while to get started. It was weird in game though. I couldn't loot player drops. The map was different and didn't show the safe zone.

you were not playing king of the kill thats the other h1z1 called "just survive"

what to you mean locate?? and i have file there called launchpad.exe.bak. Help

Check if you have a 64 bit system, otherwise the game just won´t open.
