H1Z1 what is this game???

h1z1 is just a dumb shooter is it not?
their are diffrent "game modes" yet all are dumb run/drive around shooting,
i found a special Ak47 with some sort of special skin, eureka!! the game has special items and skins you can only find in game, but nope... gone it was in lobby.,

than i ran to the drop crate and i was hoping to find some gun skins or whatever i can really have and wear ingame, i risk driving through a bunch of players all shootign at me, i kill one, get to the drop chest, and W00T!!!! a full gully/gilli suite! so bad ass, i drive away, later i get killed, i look in lobby no gilli suite...WTF!!!

so let me ask, is their more to this game than just running around like a idot shooting everyone??,
or are their skins in the game you can find? like in "infestation the new z" cause infestation is a horrible game, basicly the same as h1z1 with more guns,attachments,skins but horrible grapics and devs, BUT!! atleast you can go look for rare gun skins you dont own yet WITHOUT having to buy loot boxes,,AND you can trade skin blue prints with other players!!!!!..

* is h1z1 more than a dumb shooter?
* can we find skins in game?
* is their any other goal than just stupidly running/driving around shooting??
