Another automated message. Just go through other posts and you will see mod copy that same phrase.
Your boss simply said "redirect everyone to reddit, dont actually talk to them".
on the main topic.
I think there is different teams workin on different things, like 1 team works on cosmetics, while another patches/fixes/gameplay. And to the people that say "stop making crates and fix the game" Crates/skins bring revenue, revenue brings fixes.
And you're crazy if you think streamers quitting will end this game. sure the numbers will go down, but it wont die lol. Just another example of casuals thinking streamers are the best gamers ever lmao.
i didnt give any feedback i just wondererd how much Daybreak make from the actual game and how much they make from skins.
I believe that the development is as slow as it is becaust the company does not have any incitement to make a better game as skins and crates generate more money than game copies.
If you could fix 1 minor bug or tweak something every time you release a new skin, this game would be in beta a long time ago. Where can i read about how the development is going?
Ultimately the answer is that im stupid for buying an early alpha game with no promise of getting a complete game, ever.
Where can i read about the games progression plans?
Yes. Is there any?
They update you every month with a producer's letter.
You dont actually stand behind that backward thinking do you?
My logic is as follows; The company loses incitement to develope the game further if skins and crates generate more money and cost less to make.
A company is about making money, not pleasing everyone. Also, we all bought a uncomplete product with no promise of it ever beeing complete.
Discuss, why is it backwards? How would you run a company? Maybe you will aim for happier customers but less income?
Guess what genius ? You agreed to purchase an "incomplete" product. Are you aware how long it takes to develop a video game ? Daybreak isn't a huge company compared to AAA software companies. They have made huge improvements to this game since the release almost 2 years ago. Is it perfect ? Not even close. Do they work hard on fixing bugs ? I believe so. What I'm getting at is people like you complain and complain and have no idea what entails to develop and complete such a huge game as KOTK.
Statements like that are not worth anything when you can clearly see that the devs are working their asses off to produce crates and skins, but not fixing current issues. It's about prioritizing and they prio money, ofc.
If nobody bought skins the game would HAVE to be better. Thats my point, if you missed it.
