Z1BR launching problems

So I installed Z1 after a long time not playing it and I came to an error that I see a lot of players have.

I get stuck on that "press any key" screen and even if I pass it my game crashes on that screen when you need to make a character.

yep same. It worked when i restarted the game yesterday couple times but today for me that doesn't help anymore it seems :/

Try this list of things : verify game files
Run everything as administrator ( steam and game)
Unistall Razer chroma sdk if you have a razer device
If not just unistall steelseries sdk or whatever ur mouse has as software to change dpi and ♥♥♥♥♥. I personally unistalled razer chroma sdk and all problems went away.

My possible Solution:

Delete following in your H1z1 Folder :

Launchpad.libs (complete Folder)
H1Z1.exe
LaunchPad.exe
UserOptions.ini
SoundSettings.xml
LoadingScreen.xml
InputProfile_Default.xml
InputProfile_User.xml
vivoxoal_x64.dll
vivoxsdk_x64.dll

also delete your Paperbin on your desktop. Then verify your Gamefiles and give it a try.

What you can try to :
Go in your H1z1 Folder and doubleklick on your launchpad.exe.

Then you get an Error "Cannot load Launchpad Error101: Time Game must be launched from Steam. But this error is not important. What you can try now. Log out of your Account and login new and give it a try again.


Whitescreen Issue:
Do the same like above and start the Game. If it doesnt work, open your Useroptions.ini File and change following to your native Resolution and give it a try

Example with 1920x1080 native Resolution

FullscreenWidth=1920
FullscreenHeight=1080
WindowedWidth=1920
WindowedHeight=1080
Mode=Fullscreen
FullscreenMode=Fullscreen

Also make sure your Firewall / Anti Virus do not block this Game

So I come to that "press any key" screen and I press any key and then game starts loading that screen where you choose character and region and it stops responding and crashes

can you delete your character ? If yes, do it and change your name just to get into the game. You can rechange it later. And have you done my Steps above ? Sry, i dont accept more Adds in my Friendlist. Im not a Supporter. I just help here and there. I helped 2 Guys today (you can see it in my Comment Section on Steam) and this is enough bec it takes a lot of Time to figure out and solve Problems. Dont get me wrong

Yea I askes my friend to go to my acc and delete my character, when he did it, I could play but when I shut down the game and want to play again it needs to be deleted

Spam or no spam, I can't get to that "Enter game" button, it just crashes

Btw thanks for helping, I was trying by my own for few hours but nothing, only got in one time

Have you tried to start the Game in Windowed Mode instead of Fullscreen ?
