I sent you a Steam Friend Request.
Are you saying the very ending of the new chapter "The Crypt" will be explained? Because what I saw really makes no sense to me. I understand the guy we control is someone that can control their dreams, at least that much that much I understand. My office IT guy says there are hidden "dream journals" that I can find. Will those help me me understand better?
I have to buy a comic book to understand the video game. I don't read comic books so I guess I'll just have to miss out. I appreciate your hard work and am glad your video game is successful, however I shouldn't have to pay MORE money.
Perhaps it's my fault for missing clues while playing, that explain everything or to an extent. You are the developer and the creator, so in my opinion your version of the story is paramount. To have to pay more money just to get your version (of your own story) doesn't sit well with me.
The game has all the info in it that is necessary to decipher its meaning - it’s not easy, but someone had contacted me before sharing their theory and to my surprise, they were 100% correct about all the details of the plot. In other words, you don’t have to pay more money to get my version of the story.
The comic book is a separate side project - it will expand on what’s presented in the game, introduce new characters, locations, and mostly show things that are not in the game, what happens before and after events shown in DARQ. While reading the comic book will provide a clear explanation to the game’s meaning, it goes far beyond doing just that. It’s a treat for those who like this art form. It will cost a few bucks, to cover the costs of production.
If comic books are not your thing, you don’t have to buy it. You always have the option to explore the game on your own and carefully analyze its contents. Or simply wait until the comic book is released and look up the game’s analysis on reddit / forums / YouTube.
