Enhanced vs Original/Legacy

What exactly are the differences? I only found out enhanced existed around a week ago [when i bought the game] and haven't tried it. Do I keep my helos from legacy? Are there new ones? Is it stable or glitchy?

Yes, you keep your helos. The graphics of EE is supposed to be much better, but many players complain about it looking gloomy etc. According to members of the community there are bugs in it, but not so in the "old" Legacy. I suggest you just try it out.

As Chairborne said, you get to keep all unlocked helos, but not your squadrons. You will have to rebuild them.

But really, all you need to know is that the original is great and the Enhanced Edition is terrible. Just worse in every way. And hardly anyone plays it.

If rumors are to be believed, the EE was created as a social experiment, the aim of which was to determine the highest level of suckage achievable for humans.

Biggest thing with EE is you can not join an in progress game. You either play alone or hope someone is looking for a game at the same exact moment. Most of the other bugs have been fixed, but some maps are like flying on a foggy morning.

I haven't played since shortly after EE's release, this is STILL an issue? What are they actually doing here? Why would you actively make a game worse, refuse to fix it, then stop updating?
