Game doesn't open

I have downloaded the game , ran the patch , but when I click in the "Start" button the game crashes. What must I do ?

had this happen with many steam games 1/3 cant ever fix there gunna tell us to delete /Steam/appcache done it re-installed ran in Admin in Compatability mode XP serv pack 2 nothing good luck people I dont hate the game want it to work we need more low end games not everything need 55GB of graphics data

oh and for me Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.20GHz 2GB RAM 32bit Radeon X1300 series you guyz might wanna do the same thing doubt it though Basicly anything 2000 up can run

same thing here.. game crashes after clicking play on patcher..im using AMD Phenom II 840T Quad-Core Processor with 6GB DDR3 system memory .. 1 Terabyte hard drive .. ATI Radeon HD 4200 intergrated graphics .. on Windows10

Same! I click the START button in the launcher, and nothing happens, and my Steam says that I am no longer playing that game.

Hello, So I was facing the same problem, Ive been playing BS for the last 3 years, and log ontp steam bs with the account Ive been using. (just move the register window aside and login), when I click starts it crash and telling me it not responding, I just let it load all by itself and done.
it load and I can play well.

^ so it's not the same problem. In our case, the launcher works but the game does not start at all and there is no error

Game still doesnt work after their "HOT FIX".. click on start in the launcher . Launcher closes and steam showing that game is ready to play. When it clearly isnt. Not sure why Steam has so many issues with games.
