Warlords Battlecry 3 latest patch

Hey guys, maybe some of my fellow Warlords may remember the bright eyed kid with his eyes set to the future; it is I, the forum goer known as Magnus, the 14 year old inspired by Chrono Trigger's antagonist turned protagnist.

This is a message to avid Warlorder, new and old alike: you should all check out the balance changes, aesthetic changes (switching the models for squire and Imperial Archer because they don't fit the style of the pikeman; the Squire's model wears the same armor as the Pikeman's, this new patch changes this obvious mistake), bug fixes, and overall game improvements(more items, new quests, fixes well known game imbalances from people that have been part of the game commmunity for decades, etc) in last year's unofficial offical patch on the Warlords Wikia. . . .

Here's how you install:

Download the patch, after installing the game(regardless of the version as long as it's 1.03.24 or some other 1.03.2.) and extract the files into the Warlords Battlecry 3 folder, replacing the old ones. When you run the game, if units are invisible, exit the game and run the WarlordsBattlecryIII.exe file in compatibility mode, using Pack 2. If pack 2 doesn't work,try the other modes and use trial and error until you find the mode which works for your computer. That should be it, if anyone questions, or for a look at the changes check the Wikia.

BTW, have you tried installing the unoficcial patches on the Steam version?

Yes, and it works perfectly! I even transferred my hero files from the GOG version of the game, and haven't looked back since. My heroes are working, the unofficial official patch is in full swing, and the game is on steam.

Unfortunately, it does not work for me even witht he patch. It may for others, though. I don't think everyone has this problem, I will look for a fix, I never bothered trying because I do not use Iron Man heroes often.

How do I apply this patch to the Stream Version of Battlecry 3?
I can find the Battlecry 3 folder.

Download 1.03.25, extract files to the Steamapps/Common/Warlords Battlecry folder and overwrite.

If that doesn't work, The Protectors is basically a standalone patch and may be worth a try.
