Main game or prologue first?
I've literally just bought the game and seen there is a prologue. I get that prologues come before the main story usually, but in this case which one should I play first?

The prologue takes place in an area you can't get to in the main game. It is a little backstory on the island just before you start the main game with a new character Daphne.
I like to play it first but it does not really matter.

I read somewhere that it spoils some gameplay features that you find later in the main game (e.g. enemies). Is that something I need to consider or does it really not matter?

Good point but for me enemies trying to kill me are not the best part of this game. The prologue takes about two hours and that character gets weapons that can easily handle those enemies long before Daphne does.

The prologue is fun and lots of combat if you want to play that way. It does explain some minor things in the main game so if you don't play it before play it after. The worse part about the prologue for me is the ending ... there is a reason you start with a new character.

Thanks for you help. I think I'll probably start with the main game mostly because I'm more interested in gameplay/experience than story but I'll definitely go back for the prologue. Also just learnt that spoiler hiders don't work when you're replying to a comment lol

I played it before but I would recommend playing it after because if you pay attention to the lore of the main game you will understand what the prologue deals with. For me it felt a bit hanging in the air. It features a small tutorial like moving and climbing etc. but that is not difficult, you will be able to use it in the main game with no problem.
Also the gameplay is quite different or let's say the focus is different because the prologue is much more sneaking and fighting (which is not the best part of the game) whereas the main game has more exploration, traversal of the island, climbing and unfolding the story.
