It should be a false positive as Steam should scan every version of the game on its end before allowing it to be distributed. I'd be curious to hear which virus scanner is flagging it though!
Tonight, I got the new Windows Update and, this mornig, I got a "severe" alert from Windows Defender. The game contains Win32/Cloxer.D!cl (a trojan virus).
I suggest the developpment team to examine their work and change the critical code.
I will ask for refund.
The demo game doe not seem to be infected.
In the meantime, I'm going to try upgrading Inversus to use the latest version of the Hypersect engine in the hopes that the changed exe file will by chance not trigger the virus detector. I'll post more here once either of those steps is finished.
Merry Christmas,
Ryan
sorry to bother you on X-Mas... wasn't my intention to kick off rather huge trouble during the holidays ;(
Sad news, the DX9 exe seems to be affected as well. If you need more precise reports I am sure I can somehow assist if you tell me what you need...
Merry Christmas ;o)
Microsoft says they have removed the detection for the DX11 exe I sent them.
That might also fix the DX9 build, but I'm not sure. Either way, I should have my code signing certificate soon at which point I will sign both exe files and hopefully avoid any future issues.

There is no more false positive.
I reinstalled and played this morning and everything was alright.
The game is very funny.
It is one of the very few games able to handle two keyboards, one for each player.
