This explanation is suprisingly dense to me considering that I know what all of the symbols mean individually. I ask:

My (attempted) explanation of | and 'of' here might help.

Using the above: mean of heart = meaning's heart = either the meaning of feeling or the meaning of a heart
From the journal: being middle = life

Uuuh so maybe it glosses roughly as

The phrase "fall heart" means there is no meaning to feelings. It means that meaning has no place in life.

...So sadness or depression? That's what I thought it meant but it's interesting to hear it explained like this.

the phrase "no place" also translates to being 'irrelevant'.
For what I understand, the computer says:
"Fall heart" has nothing to do with the heart. Its meaning is irrelevant to the person being in the middle (of its life)
There has been numerous referals to the beginning and end to things in this conversation with the AI. Although the converstations are very limited, the creator did a wonderful job with the way of thought of the computer on Sethian. <3
