Medal Transfer

So I have about 40 medals on the free version. If I transfer a backup file to this version, do I get the medals?

It's been a while, but I think so. Maybe someone else can confirm.

Once you've opened your save data you'll need to click on the medals in-game to re-send them to Steam.

Dang am I glad I came here! Thought I'd have to redo all the medals but turns out there was a shortcut all this time, and it works!

While you will get the medals back in-game, steam does NOT recognize that you've earned the medals. If you want to unlock the steam achievements, you will have to do all of them over again.
