Suggestion/Request
I have a suggestion about new game + and the epic difficulty achievs. I understand that ng+ does not scale with your level so the achievs become way easier to get. What I would like to see is that you can still gain achievs for the scaling side bosses and for the bosses in the boss run in the temple of trials. Since all of those bosses scale with your level, I don't think they would be easier on repeated playthroughs. I ask this because I was not able to get all of my gear to max lvl in one playthrough, and I want to be able to have max gear to play around in endless battle and beat the bosses on epic. This change would cut out a lot of resource grinding for complletionists.

NG+ wasn't even supposed to be a thing and ebf5 was not really made for completionists, if you know what I mean. Haven't checked how much grind you need if you know what you are doing.

The problem is you'll find a lot of stat boosting items on NG+, and the bosses will still be noticeably easier.

I'm not really against the change, I just feel like it may cheapen the challenge for a lot of players.

I hadn't thought about the stat boosting items. That actually makes a lot of sense considering stat boosters are why I don't have the cash to fully upgrade all of my gear lol.

The boss rush still counts on the first playthrough right? If so I'll just challenge myself to beat it with lv 4 equips

Yeah, you can get the Epic medals in the boss rush (except for Anna).

5 is much more completionist friendly in terms of getting all achievements than 4 ever was.
You had to beat NG+ and NG++ and get to at least level 40 to get all achievements in EBF4, as well as scan all foes on top of the standard all bosses Epic, plus clearing the difficult deluxe edition content and so on.
5 doesn't have you scanning and capturing every single foe and does not require you to do NG+ from what I can see, there are no "grind to level" achievements and the damage achievements require less damage than 4 did. Capturing everything and getting all equips as a self imposed challenge in 5 on top of the achievements does seem harder though.

I'm not sure it is harder in 5. The Temple of Trials makes capturing and scanning pretty easy, because you get access to almost all of the previous foes/bosses again, and can capture them on the zero difficulty.
