Advice for Telperion

I have tried this boss battle (Telperion) numerous times at this point. Matt essentially handles all buffs because of his equipment, which would work if the defense debuffs were not so frequent. Using guardian is almost useless because then run into a cycle where if the second attack hits and kills someone (which it will because that is a tough -60% to just leave to evade stats), I have to revive with a turn and I get a turn behind spending everything on buffs and heals.

This is on epic, by the way. Nothing is actually difficult until you make OP bosses even more OP.

Use the poison+virus+tired combo on Telperion. If possible, try to have 100% resistance on poison, bomb and dark. Bomb is the highest priority since it can use the black missile which deals insane magic bomb damage. It's best to kill it very quickly before the debuffs overwhelms you.

Telperion is like the easiest Mega Boss for me *oh wait, cyclops exist* - What i do to kill him, is buffing magic attack for Lance and Anna, make him invisible, and use Supernova and Mother Earth for DOT. And he goes down. Sure there were some deaths, but coffee you can focus on reviving and healing when Poison and Burn take him down - you can also drop virus if you want

Thank you. I have since the date this was posted (February 21) defeated Telperion with ease. I would definitely say that the only boss from the bonus dungeons that was more difficult was Vulcan, and that was out of sheer annoyance for the length of the battle. I appreciate the advice, but I have already beaten Telperion and am gearing up to finish the last of the Temple of Trials characters.
