Monolith help
I'd hate to ask for help again so soon, but I'm stumped. Is there a trick to defeating the Cosmic Monolith at the edge of Redpine? Its evasion is so ridiculously high (Bind didn't work BTW) and its attacks are so powerful (I tried defending against its Charge attack, and it STILL wiped out my entire front line in one shot) that when I first battled it, I thought this was one of those story-driven battles where you're supposed to lose.

He he, yeah, they are strong, when I have to face one or more of those monolith I try to set up a combo for the Ion cannon to kill them in one turn, the Ion cannon is partially electric and cosmic monolith are weak to electric damage, plus is highly accurate and seen the dodge they have is a good thing, but if you wish a more safe approach than stack as much dark res. as possible.

-If you skipped battles, you may be underleveled ?
-Buff that accuracy if even bind is missing.
-Syphon will make them only able to use a single target physical attack, which can be easier to deal with.

Bind will work, it'll just sometimes dodge it, which is really annoying. Cosmic Monoliths in general are a pain, but Bind or the Fuzzy Worm can help ease that.

Also, Tsunami limit break is helpful here too, if Ion Cannon isn't enough - you can finish with Tsunami (or better vice versa, because Tsunami may wet targets)

Syphon and evade debuffs (the fuzzy worm summon works best) essentially diminish the monolith's power. It is not a difficult enemy after crippling it with one of these effects.

First use Tsunami so the Ion can deal extra damage ;)

if the stars aline and lance has the pocket watch + lightning cannon (i forget the name) that can charge itself, you can tripple wammie everything.

also summons have ludicris accuracey, so use a fuzzy worm on the cosmic monolith, and if you can handle massive physical damage, i suggest syphoning it so that it can't cast apcolypse

Cosmics are pains, but I've noticed that they like to buff their own evade to even more ludicrous proportions. That's when our lord and savior Red Bot Summon graces us with his divine power and turns that overwhelming evasion into something mere mortals can properly handle.

With that out of the way, Bind should work, and if whoever has Revive is constantly his with Loveable then you should be all set.
