How do you say Anna is better? Nat got Seventh Heaven going for her.
I've never had any problems with Nat's squishiness, mostly because the only staff I ever use on her is Slime Staff (easter staff; got bored during beta and got all the holiday items). Nat's Limit Breaks are the best in the game by far; Genesis can be used to prepare for an opponent's Limit Break, and 7th Heaven can put you back into the game if you get a team wipe (which is why I didn't say to use Genesis for comeback; Nolegs then this is the best way to do it). Plus her '"unleash" is better for damage and spreading status conditions than any other party member.

I gave my Natalie Healmore and Revive, making her a great backup healer (Healmore has a cooldown). Plus, she has great elemental coverage, making her really useful in battle, especially with the addition of the wind, earth, water, and bomb spells. Syphone also makes any Monolith a joke.
The staff is strong. Her Melee is stronger than Matt and Anna's melees, if the enemy is weak to Bomb.
The dress randomly casts Viking Monolith, giving the team 2 moves per turn.
The hat randomly casts Wizard Cat, fully healing the person with the lowest health.
The Fairy accessory gives you Auto-Revive, so that she can revive on a team wipe.
Lightning Bolt symbol is to prevent paralysis.
Cat Tail is to look cute. Considering swapping it to an accessory that prevents Syphone.
