Is Natalie useless?

I am level 28 and Natalie just gets worse, Anna outclasses her in everyway, what I am doing wrong?

Natalie is magic cannon. She has epic holy single target nuke and elementless star attack that can be buffed twice with the right gear.

Natalie is the elemental exploiter/Healer. Anna is the status inflicter.

How do you say Anna is better? Nat got Seventh Heaven going for her.

Anna's magic attacks sucks, and most of her best skills are physical, which means she's competing with Matt while Nat is competing with Lance. Nat's the magic buffer, so if you aren't using her you're relying on Matt as the only person who can give any damage buffs to your party.

I've never had any problems with Nat's squishiness, mostly because the only staff I ever use on her is Slime Staff (easter staff; got bored during beta and got all the holiday items). Nat's Limit Breaks are the best in the game by far; Genesis can be used to prepare for an opponent's Limit Break, and 7th Heaven can put you back into the game if you get a team wipe (which is why I didn't say to use Genesis for comeback; Nolegs then this is the best way to do it). Plus her '"unleash" is better for damage and spreading status conditions than any other party member.

Just beat the last boss, and at least 50% of the damage was done by Natalie. Ppl say Anna is good for status effects but in boss fights they are either immune or it's dps fest. Natalie and Matt are all about the dps. Nolegs is only good for his cd skills and Lance is only good vs bomb weakness, and to stagger trash mobs.

I only use her as a single target glass cannon. And shes meh at that prop running the wrong gear though

I gave my Natalie Healmore and Revive, making her a great backup healer (Healmore has a cooldown). Plus, she has great elemental coverage, making her really useful in battle, especially with the addition of the wind, earth, water, and bomb spells. Syphone also makes any Monolith a joke.

The staff is strong. Her Melee is stronger than Matt and Anna's melees, if the enemy is weak to Bomb.

The dress randomly casts Viking Monolith, giving the team 2 moves per turn.

The hat randomly casts Wizard Cat, fully healing the person with the lowest health.

The Fairy accessory gives you Auto-Revive, so that she can revive on a team wipe.
Lightning Bolt symbol is to prevent paralysis.
Cat Tail is to look cute. Considering swapping it to an accessory that prevents Syphone.

I mean, her high level holy spell does almost 10-15K 100% of the time at level 25/26. I personally find Anna weaker, but only slightly. All characters are useful in their own ways.

10-15 k is the weakest aoe attack reserved to wipe trash waves by the end. Most respectable attacks (assuming you countered their element right and with some basic buffs) go 300-500k. Yes, Natalie does those 500ks. You get the 1 mil Achievement every other ultimate. It's crazy how the numbers scale.

Yeah, I give her the Dark Headpiece specifically for the buff it gives her when defending. No legs giving her Encore and the one accessory giving her haste, and on one case with lance and the gun that looks like a clock, nat got 3 hastes, one to buff her magic to the high heavens (80) and the other three to nuke.
