Glitch Areas?
Just gotta say, I love this. It's basically a creepypasta realized - reminds me of Petscop.

Anyway, how many are there, and where are they? They seem to pop up in already-explored regions after some point, and I'd rather not have to thrawl through the entire map repeatedly just to make sure I got them all... so far, I've found the one in the broken tower at the southern rim of the Facist Fortress, and the one just south of the Grand Gallery. I know there are more... anyone know where they are, and when they appear?

I know of one in the swamp right near the mololith as well. Haven't noticed any others currently.

Found it - East of the Mystic Woods Monolith, to be precise. I wonder if you are supposed to find that one FIRST. It seems a lot less glitchy than either of the other secret areas I've stumbled into - for starters, there was no sign of MissingNo there. Anyway, I bet there are more, just from the layout of the Bestiary. There's a space between the Dead Pixel I got from the Grand Gallery Glitch and the Gray Pixel from the Facist Fortress Glitch...

...hmm. A pattern begins to emerge. All three glitches so far have been within one screen of a warp-slime. Maybe I should check around the remainder of them...

There's a total of 5 glitch areas, and suprisingly you actually get clues as to where they are! Every time you see a character with one of those weird white masks, that's a place where a glitch area will show up. Of these 5 white masked characters, 4 will disspear after the entrance to the glitch area appears. The white masked person for the fortress glitch area is extremely well hidden however. So the 5 show up at
  • East of the No Man's land slime cat
  • South of the Great Gallery slime cat
  • East of the Mystic Woods slime cat
  • South of the Forzen Valley slime cat
  • West of the Redpine Town slime cat
I think that is also the order they appear in. I know for certain the Redpine Town glitch area appears last, as it only seems to show up if you clear the other 4 areas. I'm not sure what triggers the other 4 areas to open, but it seems you atleast need to defeat the boss of their area. There are probably other criteria I don't know about.

Edit: Not sure if this is another clue or not, but just like how there's 5 glitch areas there's 5 codes in the Forgotten Ruins. Interestingly, the rocks showing the codes match the colors of the portals to each glitch area.

Make sure you travel north in the final glitch area. The one where your characters are freaking out.
