When it comes to bosses, you should have something like this for debuffs as they allow:
Enemy: Evade Down, P.Def Down, M.Def Down, P.Atk Down, M.Atk Down, Weakened, Tired, Cursed, Staggered, Frozen, Bad Luck (HP around 10% or less)
Catcher: Monster Catching Equipment on, Good Luck
Remember that the Yellow Eyebot Summon can reverse the buffs/debuffs on all enemies (Red variant can do single target foes), so against bosses like Poseidon who give themselves crazy buffs, use the Eyebot to flip those buffs around. (I suggest waiting to use it untill his health is low enough).
Also, on any non-boss enemies, if their health is very low, your party health is near max, and you have quite a few buffs, they will likely enter the Surrender state, which makes their capture rate 100%.
