New game+
What's the point of New game+? I guess it's nice to keep the equipment and skills, but since you can't go back and beat foes on epic that you missed before, I'm wondering why it's there. . .

The point is to add to the gaming experience, I suppose.

There may be a few things that can only happen in a New Game + too. For example, getting the medal for beating the final boss on Epic (yes, Epic medals can only be had on a 1st run through - but that is understandable given the advantages a + game has in battle).

That medal completes the collection if you got all the others beforehand so that means the last room in the gallery, which only opens after you get all medals, can only be seen in a + game.

There are surely other things too, but that is the first one that came to mind.

Medals are shared between all saves, so after beating the Final Boss you can just reload the same save before defeating it and you'll be able to access the All Medals Room even if you don't go into a NG+.

NG+ was originally added simply because people bugged Matt about it (despite the fact he originally didnt plan to add one); though in v2 it does allow you to capture 2 foes you couldn't before, the Gigalith and the Devourer, so there's that now I guess.

Thanks for this info! I seem to remember in EBF4 that you could kill foes on epic that you couldn't the first time, but I may be remembering that incorrectly.
