Online Co-op Available?

So I finished Level 1-3, go the achievement Three Is A Crowd, but my "Online Games" button doesn't appear. My boyfriend on the other hand got his "Online Games" button without even playing the game, however it takes him to a black screen when he tries to host.

Is he seeing a black screen cause he didn't get past Level1-3? Or is this Level2-3 a character rank thing?

In the latest version (0.9.9) the Online Games button is enabled for all players, even you haven't finished Level 2-3. However, if you don't have a save slot, playing an online game will cause an error (it's a bug). So, in order to play online co-op, you need to create a save slot (new game), and go back to the main menu to host/join an online game. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Ah thanks for the reply back :)
Just checked mine and yeah the Online Games button is present. Perhaps Level 1-3 should be called tutorials more? I feel like for new people playing, they were helpful in introducing what each character did

Yes, the first three levels are tutorial levels :) I just put them with the later levels together to make a whole story.
