About the player character...
I love the Harvest Moon games, but something that I miss in them is being able to romance female characters while playing as female.
In this game we can play as female? And if that's possible, can we romance other females?

Thank you, and congrats for already having a release date!

Yes! I'm happy to say you can play as a male or female character, and romance any of the 6 marriage candidates regardless of your gender. One of the first options in the game is whether you're interested in dating men, women, or both.

Thank you so much for the congrats! I'm excited for everyone to play =)

To what I remember from playing when it wasn't on KS and such yet... I don't think they do speak

Protagonist is your standard player-avatar type mute.

First rule of role playing -- don't tell someone else what their characters does/says. :steamhappy:

What about the writing? Does it change depending on if you're playing as a guy or a girl?

RF4 had lazy gender-neutral dialogue because you could choose between playing as a guy or a girl at the start of the game, and it led to my male character being flirted with every man on the planet as he became closer friends with them. I can assume that the same was true had I played the female character.

So? Is the dialogue in the game hand-crafted depending on the gender you pick?

stupidiest thing I ever heard of. Mute characters just make game boring.

I'm sorry that you hate games like Zelda and Fallout.
