Which way?

So I am in the snow zone and have found the mining machine in the big cave and collected all the boxed Tetrerium but I am so totally lost now.

I have been so far west that I have fallen off the edge of the map, so far east until I hit unclimbable walls, I have gone another sort-of-east until ION told me it was the wrong way, I have found the hex platform next to the fallen antenna but I cannot find the portal that ANI says is here.............somewhere?!

Note, I have done most of these locations by myself while making sure ANI stays in the cave by hitting the F button the second she starts to move.

I have 27 Tetrarium in Inventory, Library says 29/48 collected and I am sure I have loaded 12 into Sister.

Did you make sure to bring ANI close to the comlog so she can decrypt it? After that follow the path to the northeast through the valley left of the cave. Behind some rocks you will find old spaceship junk and a portal on a small rock.
The game won't get easier.

That was it! No I hadn't done that. Once we were in shelter I locked her movemnt so she didn't leave before I wanted her to. I think I have been to the destination, it looked the sort of place where a portal should be. I will see shortly if I was right.

Sucessfully finished the game. The ocean section took a lot of trial and error and a bit of lateral thinking but I finally got there. Overall I really enjoyed this game. Well done!
