Problem - Ani found but what to do? (SPOILER ALERT)

First I found spaceship where I needed to repair something but I don't know how to unlock Solar Module and Communication Array. I guessed that I have to find new resources to unlock so I found that bird and used teleport. Next i found Ani but I don't know how to take her, she can't jump over the rock. I saw on someone gameplay that he used teleporter but I have no teleporter too. So i left canyone and Ani and explore new terrain - I visited 2 vilages, I turned on generator in one of the vilages and I went to radio tower and repaired it. Now I'm exploring deserd (worms are hard) but I don't know how to unlock technologies and take Ani. I also don't know how to go back to the spaceship to repair it. Did I something wrong? Is there any solution?

How did you progress that far without a teleporter? o.O That's the first tool you craft, and you need it to get to ANI to begin with.

Well I make the series on youtube (only polish comment but I play english version of the game) so I have all my gameplay on video. First I noticed that on other people gameplays there is always an interaction at 6:38:

But no interaction in my gameplay? :(
I didn't know what to do next so I decided to just jump to the canyon 22:47). Next i found place where I could leave the canyon other way (26:54) so I crossed it that way.
I thought that's the way how to do it.

That's very interesting, did you craft the circuit purge and give it to the ship? It looks like you skipped some of the game entirely :D

No, I didn't. I thought I need to find new resources to unlock it so I run next to that two golems and I found that bird and portal and I jumped into the portal. I was sure I could come back to repair the spaceship :/
It looks game trolled me and I don't know how to fix it. I don't know if I have my old saves from part before teleporting...

At this point, to be honest, it's probably best to restart haha. You aren't supposed to be anywhere close to the desert yet. You need to craft stuff and get recipes unlocked before you can progress. Sorry :(

Acting like a true explorer, AUTO6. I love the initiative. But of course there is the risk of running into a dead end in this dangerous world, especially when you enter a portal and you don't know where it leads to. I suggest loading an earlier save or the autosave from before entering the portal. You will find all the resources there that you need to build the teleporter.

Ok. I will do it. But I still don't know where was my first mistake. It wasn't my way of canyon crossing because before that I was under the radio tower (or what it is) where I should be to have an interaction with command unit but nothing happend (6:38 on my movie). I am not criticizing, I'm just curious why nothing happend for me then.
I'm 32 and I'm old school player so I always try to fix problems without any guides (guides spoils climate of the game for me).
This time it turned against me ;)

You have to collect the resources to craft the circuit purge in the first area, before the game will give you the dialogue and information about the second. Everything you need is in that area without crossing the canyon.

Ok. I started almost whole game again and I rescued Ani. Everything was allright till our back to Ani's sister ship. On the village I turned on the light and new portal appeared. We jumped the portal and came back. After that I dont know what to do, there was no sequence when Ani talk with her sister and no info about new portal. Just info I have back to desert. Maybe there is a bug because I repaired also first radio tower before coming back (I have no story when I repaired it but I saw some other player had an interaction when he repaired the towed but he did it after returning there, not during first visit like me).

Auto6, thanks for the input. ANI must have warned you to go that far away from the first village when you fixed the radio tower on your first try.
We will check as to whether that can cause your problems (it shouldn't).

Hi. I just installed game have the radio tower mission but when I get to them I can't repair? Have watched vid clip and know where to repair but it just doesn't give me the option. Any help appreciated

Hi malnet, could you please upload a screenshot of your current task list in the library?
Either that or send it to [e-mail].
In addition, it always helps to check your savegames, which you can send us like so:

1) Go to this folder:
C:\Users\XXX\AppData\LocalLow\Ion Lands\Phoning Home
and replace XXX with your Windows username.
2) Zip all the files in there and send them via email to [e-mail]
