How so? Cause I keep looking into it, and people say AMS1 is worst because it doesn't have any assistance with controllers while AMS2 does have assistance. I don't know how much the assistance helps, but I assume it does with steering.
On the other hand, AMS1 has standard ISIMotor support and you can configure anything. It's much better input than in PC2/AMS2.
What are your other favorite games? AMS1 was rather OK even for my friend who doesn't play sims.
This is kind of my first endeavor into racing sims. My friend bought the racing sim bundle on humble bundle that includes ASM1 and ASM2 with a bunch of other games, but I picked up ASM2 on his suggestion that it would be a better racing sim game for a ps4 controller than the others because it was made in the same engine as project cars. If ASM1 is actually ok with ps4 controllers that's great.
I don't really know what assists I use, but when I launched ASM2 I know I went and turned gear shifts to manual instead of automatic first thing.
