And some rF1 tracks actually work... kind of.
http://www.racedepartment.com/forums/automobilista-mods.408/ and here there is mods that is made for AMS
Thanks man, you really helped. (y)
Find the .scn file, lets say you try to make Spa work then you open the spa.scn file with notepad++ or other program that work. And then find 2 lines about clouds. Like spa files are ''MASFile=CloudsMed.MAS
MASFile=SkyEuroAltHazy.MAS''
And those files are not in AMS, so when you try to load that stage the nothing happends. So replace those lines with some files that are in the game. Like
''MASFile=CloudsDefault.MAS
MASFile=SkyNorth.MAS''
And spa is just an example, you can download spa AMS version on racedepartmant.
Go to Xtremefactor.es and you cand fin a lot of mods for SCE updated with automatic degrees. These mods should work on AMS. But dosen't have AMS features.
And for tracks, there you can find more tracks then RD with "GSCE Standars". Amazing tracks like Mid Ohio, Hockenheim, Watkins Glen, Zandvoort, Zolder , Imola, Laguna Seca and many more.
For these you have to edit 2 lines on .scn file a then works.
Also you cand find a lot of tracks without "GSCE Standars" (over 300), and shoud work too. Make a copy from original "terrain.tdf", becouse some of these can overwrite the file. Is placed on GameData/Locations.
Already tried some GSCE tracks... Will probably need to check if my terrain.tdf is still intact.
Happened to me as well. Best thing is to take already converted mod (I used monza) and compare it to your own mod. You can also use some files from the mod (If you don't tell them :D)
But since I need Nordschleife and rally stages, something needs to be done anyway :)
