Automobilista
DynHUD
Instructioins, please. Assuming it lets you move widgets around and choose what you want on your screen, it should be great. Despite having an ultra-wide screen, I have HUD items on top of each other. Choosing and moving would be great. I tried, but there is undoubtedly some trick somewhere to get it to work.

i'm kinda learning it myself atm 1 trick i've learned is take a screenshot in game and put it into the folder DynHUD /editor / backgrounds / Reiza t cam and rename it in the same way the sample file is ie-background_5808x1080 & Dynhud will then recognise it . I've moved the hud items around then hit "file" / "save as" and selected all & any from the pop up & overwritten the default one & it worked . One thing i'm stuck on is i cant move the hud items to centre as if it's only let me place them on my 2 side monitors .

Are you looking for this?
\Steam\steamapps\common\Automobilista\Plugins\DynHUD\editor

Thanks. My problems are likely due to ultrawide screen resolution. But I think I have figured it out now.

I think you need to change the monitor resolution to match yours in the first line under the "General" heading in the "editor_settings.ini" file found here

\Steam\steamapps\common\Automobilista\Plugins\DynHUD\config\editor_settings.ini

As well as doing what 1karl1 said above.

I found a tip that said setting the program to use pixels only helps ( I forget where the command is - Edit Menu?). I tried it and I was able to move the widgets to the place I wanted them. Using this method you can manually enter the pixel location at which you want to widget to appear, overriding the defaults of the TopCenter, TopRight, etc. For example, I placed the lap counter at -350 and it appears next to the virtual center mirror on my triple screen setup.

This is all great. Reinforces why "normal" instructions are needed. The supplied readme does not qualify.

I haven't read the instructions on this, but just to ask real quick - is it possible to make the map toggleable? That's all I really want. I drive with it off for any solo driving, but definitely like it on when racing.

Also, is there a way to have a HUD mirror? With the FoV I use, the on-car mirrors aren't always very usable, but I consider having a useable mirror absolutely mandatory for racing, but cant seem to find any option for one.

You can assign keyboard or cotroller buttons to individual widgets including the track map in the DynHUD editor.

You can use the virtual mirrors and have those toggleable to any of four states just assign a keystroke or controller button to "Virtual rearview in cockpit" under Options > Display.

Cool, thanks man. I'll check it out tomorrow.
