Automobilista
Joining a Multiplayer Event
The in game server list does not presently list servers.

To view servers with in your steam client click 'View - Servers' Then under filters, choose Automobilista for Game.

We will in future add a better method for joining online servers.

Thank you.

Matchmaker TCP 40001
Matchmaker UDP 40002

Both are listed in game install userdata/Dedicated Server/ Multiplayer.ini

CurrPorts http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/cports.html says open, as welll
AMS Dedicated.exe TCP 34747
also showing
AMS Dedicated.exe UDP 49632

Anyway add them, reboot router and test, worked for me.
THIS!

Thanks brother it's working now, no more join timed out :) Those two ports (TCP 34747 and UDP 49632) were missing, Reiza need to put them in the guide as well.

FIRST start the game and then open dedicated.exe in the explorer. Then ingame just click on the + on the top right somewhere and type in 127.0.0.0.0 when you are in the same network.
Now you can join your server ingame :)

That's true, but why join my own server alone in the network?
Main question is how to run a dedi server in the steam public lobby without the crash message "Joined time out".
The must be a solution, because in GSC all went fine on exactly the same way.

I keep getting a "Current Session Closed" message when I try to join from the browser in steam. Any suggestions?

SAME ! as it was the SAME problem on GSC..... really the thing making sometimes having enought and going to other game... but true
This really sucks, thought you guys found a way to make it easier. Like it is in Pcar, so convenient to create a server :( ...

This is certainly why there were already SO MANY locked servers on the GSC and still becoming to be the same here on AMS :-( because need to be a "specialist" to manage to create and have fun... On a lot of other games this is much fun and people are staying on because it is easy to create and play.. Hope the final release will be VERY taking attention about this matter.. because if not... is loosing interest and people move more and this would be AGAIN a shame :-(

I can see only 3 servers with 0 players. Ist there a difference between Automobilista and Automobilista beta?
Mr. Popcorn Mar 3, 2016 @ 6:54am
So i have opened all the ports and still no luck with hosting, it only shows my server as lan?... same old crap. love the game but things like this shouldnt be the case in 2016. Reiza maybe start selling servers to rent it will bring you in money and we can actually race. im sure this will just die online like GSC. back to racing ai :(

It's ridiculous that I am even posting this here, because never happened to me in any sim. Am trying to join a Multiplayer event and when choosing Multiplayer, in the server list I only get, "No Results" and no way out of this. Is this normal?

No. Double check Windows firewall hasn't blocked it. The first time you launch an application that tries to access the internet a window usually pops up asking if you want to allow it or not.

All the sims I have are enabled in the firewall, including AMS. Stll, I can't see any servers online in the Multiplayer. Tried it in the game, tried it via Steam. Tried via Steam servers. For me, there are no AMS servers online all over the world. I'm this close to clicking the "Del" button :(

Hang on, so, going to View > Servers in the Steam client returns nothing? Change the filter to all and see if any show.

Edit: Also, does this page populate with a list?
