AMS crash to desktop after start race

Well, everything is okay in practice, but after loading race, AMS crash to desktop without any notice. I am just impressed about formulas in this sim, but problem with crash is annoying. Thanks for solution.

Okay, I turn off track ir, crew chief and start in windowed mode. Finally got race without crash, but on the start the game froze and came back when my opponents 10 seconds lead :D ...when I go back to the menu, AMS crashed to the desktop again.

Well, I deleted my personal folder in documents, start game as administrator, but races are still unplayable. Interesting, because I have no problem with AC, Raceroom, or Codies F1.

and how big of a race are you setting up? mods or vanilla content?

mods that overwrite anything are a worry. copy in place sure, overwrite original content - NO.

also graphics settings applied. And just.. you know... information.

i7 6700 3,4 GHz, GTX 1060. I had problem with vanilla. After delete user data folder in documents and delete one .dll file in root directory is everything okay. Game crash only when I start single race without practice and qualy. With min. 1 practice and qualification is single race stabile without crashes or freezing. I use mods tracks and cars (f1 2019 from WCP) too now and everything is smooth like hell. Thank you for response.

So I noticed I starting having problems after installing some mods I think. I tried going through and deleting some of the newer ones, but it was still crashing so I just did a new install with all vanilla files. Will report back

Intel 5 16gb ram gtx 1070 with ssd drives. Game always ran great until recently. I race every other sim out there on max settings and large fields with no issues practically.

Same here... crashes as soon as session is loaded and entering cockpit...

Happens to me also. Crash to desktop immediately on clicking start race. Big disappointment after long install and hearing good things about the game. Negative review left cos I can't play the game. Would really appreciate a fix.

I've played this game for a couple of years without any problems at all, now it crashes when i start a race, maybe a tactic to get us all to buy number 2 lol.

Heavily modded AMS here running many apps simultaneously in the background such as crew chief, spotify, dashpanel never had a crash. The only problem I've had is Shift+Tab crash occasionally.
Changing to window borderless corrected that.
It's been a few months now OP, still having issues?
