Old touring car mod?

Hi guys im loving the game especially for the old car mods.

I grew up watching R Rydel, J Cleland and A menu battle it out, I haft to have this mod! I was such a big fan I those days, it's the racing of my childhood.

Does anyone know the location or have a version I can copy?
I can't find it anywhere.
It will get much use I can assure you :)

If you find such a mod for AMS, let me know. I've been dying for good ol' BTCC from that era. The closest I know of is the Super Touring mod for Race 07.

As i resaerch further it seems the mods I'm seeing are stock car extreme mods but work in Automobilista, I will let you know when Ive found one ;)

Yeah, that's a bit earlier than I'm thinking. I want Cavaliers, Mondeos, Lagunas, 850s....or a couple of years later with the S40, Primera, 406...

Yeh me too, specifically just before toca, the last of the Cavaliers before Vectras came, 94-95 I think.

I assumed they may be in the master mod too, as historix mod has hundreds from different years, but maybe not.

This is exactly what I'm after but it's for gtr2, however I have the game but can't find that mod either lol.

But any old touring car mod would be great.

The compatible sims I own and are still good enough are Automobilista, rfactor 2 and Gtr2.

There must be hundreds using the awesome classic touring cars from stock car extreme converted to Automobilista as I text, I'm a modder myself and have spent years making and sharing content that's reached most popular workshop item a few times, all for free!
All I'm asking for is a link or some advice on where to find one, come on guys lol

I do loove those old touring car series too! So maybe have to go back to Race07, GTR2 and rF again? BTW i have those sims too and racing some rounds from time to time again ;-)
But should be possible to convert from rF with rfactortools.....
Allready did this with a funny sidecar mod and working now in AMS *lol*

I hope you aren't dissapointed with Race 07! It's a brilliant sim and the TOCA mod, once you get the bloody things downloaded, are second only to the original TOCA TCC games series itself!

Plus it has the added bonus of actually having a decent sized multiplayer community, stock and modded, unlike Automoterrible.

Haha I only give credit to Automobilista for the Ai, You can never guess the result and they make mistakes, the rest of the credit goes to the makers of historx mod, as the cars and sounds are epic! Real 2 life That's all I use lol, base content is poop.
Race 07 is good but no real difference from gtr2 IMO, however I wasn't blown away by the engine sounds of touring cars, bit dated now.
