Automobilista is stock car extreme?

Hello i found out about automobilista watching a guy doing some stock car extreeme on youtube, i readed here they are both from the same developer, and also it seem like automobilista have the"stock car category " inside, my question is, if i buy automobilista i need to buy stock car extreme also?

Automobilista is the latest in a continued evolution of a game from a developer.

It started as 'Game Stock Car', became 'Game Stock Car 2013', then 'Game Stock Car Extreme' and now 'Automobilista'. Automobilista contains all the content from the previous iterations of the game.

Game Stock Car 2010 was the original. That received a free update to 2012. Then there was GSC 2013. That became Stock Car Extreme when the studio got sponsorship from that company. SCE received some updates as a testbed and new branding (few people knew what was GSC, the name sucked, and it no longer had stock cars as the highlight) and that became Automobilista. It was a free upgrade for SCE owners until a few months ago.

In short no, you don't need to buy SCE as well.

Automobilista or AMS, is basically an improved version of SCE in pretty much every way and has more content. You'd actually be wasting your money in buying SCE if you buy this imo.

But SCE is still a great sim with enough content and mods out there...not a bad cheaper alternative to AMS if you're on a strict budget but still i'd just save that bit more money to buy AMS and leave SCE.

Automobilista is definitely worth it, but if you want a taste there is a free version they made http://store.steampowered.com/app/359800/?snr=1_5_9__205
It is a few years old so not up to the current standard, but includes one Brazil stock car championship. I enjoyed it so much that I got Automobilista and now it is my favourite sim. (An updated version of this stock car series is in AMS as well.)
