Which gun is best?

Im about to enter the catacombs on Ranger HC and which gun should i pick? Kalash 2012 aka P90 for some people or should i stick with AKSU?

I would say there is no big damage/accuracy difference (even tho I used 2012 only once) but I'd stick with classic AK, just because it fits better in this game ... just make sure to carry also shotgun :)

i am using the semi auto heavy shotgun as a secondary and then a suppressed gun as primary.

well I tried this out since I can't continue playing a story (crash after saving Anna) and definetely stick with AK ... 2012 seems more like SMG - less damage, higher accuracy, and as far as this goes, damage is always better, because you can compensate accuracy with precise aiming ^_^

I actually looked on the gun wiki and it comes down to personal preference since the difference isen't that big. Kalash 2012 = precision decent fire rate and normal dmg. AKSU = worse precision higher fire rate and about the same dmg.

I personally like the Kalash since i bonded with it in 2033.

The shambler shotgun works wonders on those nosalis at the catacombs, but if you want a meat fest take the azbats :) , Machine guns are not very effective on the nosalis i think except if you hit them in the head

Im using the Azbats at the moment and my god that thing shoots to kill. I got all upgrades for it i think and it is awesome.

The Saiga semi-auto shotgun is great, similar to the Abzats but reloads quicker.

Yeah but Abzats got that other firing mode which almost kills anything in front of you instantly.

Mine is
1. AK-74M supressed with 2x scope and laser sight
2. Duplet with four barrels and laser sight
3. Revolver with no attachments(old school)

Though a new maybe more modern pistol would have been great.

Abzats is great, but as was already mentioned, duplet with four barrels makes wonders

It doesnt matter wich gun. The game is so easy even on highest difficulty, you can breeze through it with a pistol!
But my favorite is the hand cannon. Erm, forgot what its called in game, but its a one hand, one shot pistol. Super damage, superinconvenient reload speed, much more fun trying to beat the game with. Everything else just gets sold
