Tank in Faction Pack heavy mission

I can't kill it, I have shot it 50+ times with the grenade launcher, It just won't die is there a spot I am supposed to be hitting it, I have tried everywhere. getting frustrated. tried switching difficulty to easy and still not able to do it... :/

Use the pipe bomb launcher and aim above the tank and shoot the pipes when the tank opens up the two shutters, here watch this vid I made on how to deal with this annoying piece of metal

That video does not adress the cover ignoring homing missile the tank fires at you in Ranger Hardcore after you've hit it a couple of times. I even killed it twice but was instantly killed after it happened.

I don't think it matters about difficulty, it still fires rounds that penetrate everything and rockets that kill you if you don't keep health up fast enough.

Not to mention the fact that you can't charge up the damned rail gun... took me forever to figure it out.

While you pick it up, they even remind you to charge it after every shot. Of course, it cannot be charged.

Yup difficulty doesn t matter just dont retreat at the back of the room, just heal and reload and fire above the tank. There is a very annoying glitch that you cant reload fast enough an dyou have to swap weapons :( its insane how accurate the rocket kills you, I died several times at that section, I think it needs balance seriously !!!

There is no cover. Fire all grenades, use medkit, reload, repeat.

AlucarD. Thank you! I was so freaking frustrated with this part of the DLC and too stubborn to just quit for the night (didn't want to risk having to start again). I went searching for tips and became increasingly frustrated with not being able to find anything. Until now. Thanks to your advice I was finally able to down the tank. Thank you for doing a real guide.

I hope the rest of the DLC isn't so devoid of fun for me. =(

The railgun can be charged by holding down "R" this brings up the voltmeter at the bottom of the weapon and allows you to charge it up to full like with your battery in the standard game.

How annoying was the tower dlc? I barely completed it on easy, sparta. got redux on my pc now and am going through everything on hardcore ranger and were i did beat the heavy squad omg im scared of what tower will be like.
