How do I turn on Russian language?
I've heard the Metro games are much better when using the Russian language and the English subtitles. I'm not finding the option to change the voice in any of the settings. How do I go about this?

There's no region lock for russian VO in this game. You will miss out a good portion of dialogue though as background talk is not subbed.

This is a good point.. I'll just have to leave English on!

Well, you miss many points anyway, cause Russian dialogues differ way too much from their English translations (even the main one)

At least the ending speech wasn't made two times shorter in Metro LL (like it was in the 2033's english dub). Most inconsistencies here are results of the adaptation.

Go to the game properties and then select language of your choice. приятной игры!

Agreed! It's really immersive to listen to the Russian dialog while reading the English subtitles. It really puts you deep into the game.

That's good atleast, but still the meaning of dialogues is changed too much and not due to adaptation.

I have not bought the game yet (will do in next sale) but would prefer to play with Russian language audio and English subtitles.

I hate playing games set in another country with crappy English accents.

Why do people post in old threads without even reading them? Anyway, there IS and always was option to switch both spoken and subtitle languages in M:LL, just like there is in M2033.
