Metro: Last Light Complete Edition

Metro: Last Light Complete Edition

Statistiche:
Season Pass and DLC details
Hi all!

Here is all the information about the Season Pass so far. I will update this post with individual DLC details as they are released.

What is the Season Pass, and why?
Allow me to let 4A Games phrase it best:

"Artyom’s story may have been concluded in Metro: Last Light, but there are other characters with stories to tell, some familiar locations that fans of the Metro series wanted to revisit, and some new challenges that 4A wanted to explore," said Andrew Prokhorov, Creative Director at 4A Games. "Since completing the game we have been working on these new stories and hope to release them throughout the summer."

Now that Metro: Last Light has gone gold, and has been released, the studio will continue their work not just on continuous updates and fixes, but also on creating new content. This will be single player content that is set in the same Metro universe, but which isn't part of Artyom's personal journey through the Metro in Metro: Last Light. 4A Games had cool ideas for special content they wanted to make beyond the main game and its focused story-driven campaign, and we also loved their ideas, so now they will have the time to turn those ideas into a reality.

[Note: Artyom's story being "concluded" relates to the new content focusing on "other" aspects of the Metro universe.]

The Season Pass is $14.99 / £11.99 / €14.99 (or 1200 MS Points if for some reason you read the Steam Community Hubs for Xbox 360 news).

It collects all the new content 4A Games is creating, but at a discount. You will be able to buy this at any time, so if you want to wait and see how the DLC turns out, you will of course have that option.

Season Pass contents
The "Faction Pack" and the "Chronicles Pack," which both focus on new and original single player gameplay and stories that expand upon the Metro: Last Light universe.

The "Tower Pack" which is something different that focuses on challenge and pure gameplay for Metro veterans.

The "Developer Pack" which is not the rumored SDK, but something that will give players a unique environment and tools to play around with.

In addition to these individual Packs, the Season Pass includes the Abzats weapon. The weapon can be found in the catacombs, and at various merchants including the first one. You can already see it in action here, courtesy of one of our community members: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hhxlNjZkGvM

Full details and prizing for each individual Pack will be released later. The first Pack will be the "Faction Pack," scheduled for release in June mid-July. Unfortunately the Faction Pack is delayed slightly, see this post for more information.

The other Packs will be released over the course of 60 days following the Faction Pack's release.

And what else do you buy games for if not gameplay?

For some people it's just for the sake of beating it, this is probably why multiplayer takes over in some franchises.
I brought the season pass ages ago. I can't wait till the DLC's. Developer pack sounds cool.
Tomorrow they are releasing new detail on the faction pack and the other dlc.

The further of Lennion's metro! And the further of man kind!

The Faction Pack adds missions from the perspective of different Metro factions, letting you be a Redline sniper infiltrating a Reich outpost under cover of night and a radioactive storm; a Reich heavy defending the frontline with big guns; and a Polis Ranger scavenging deeper and deeper into the Library. Check the announcement for more details.

It'll cost $5 on its lonesome, or comes with all the other DLC in the $15 Season Pass.

On that front, Deep Silver revealed a little more of what all those are. The Tower Pack introduces a combat simulator challenge mode with online leaderboards; the Developer Pack has a shooting gallery, AI arena, and museum to play with and explore, plus a new mission with oodles of spiders; and the Chronicles pack has new missions separately starring Pavel, Khan, and Anna.
very nice
Yep, that's next tuesday.
And within 60 days of that, they said all of the other DLC will be out as well.
It's going to be a busy couple of months gaming
What will the developers pack include? Cheat mode, making own maps? I hope so!
I don't think it will be making your own maps or levels, because they already stated that it is not an SDK.
But probably a way to scale difficulty, maybe amount of enemy, enemy types in different levels, perhaps limit what weapons you can have, or how much ammo? How much of the HUD you can see, things like that.
Basically the game as it is now, in terms of levels and content, but a way to tailor it to exactly the way you want it to be in terms of challenge
The "polis ranger in training" part of the Faction DLC sounds really good. The rest of it, not so much.. but hopefully that section will make it worth the money.

If that's it, and the tower pack is just an online leaderboard, I wish I hadn't bought this.
What a complete waste of money.
Who the ♥♥♥♥ wants leaderboards? Or a "shooting gallery" in a metro game? Metro was never about shooting first and foremost. It was about avoiding shooting if possible.
All I can say is that these new gameplay sections for these different characters better have some pretty lengthy new content, or I am done with 4A.
I am pissed off enough about ranger being paid DLC/pre-order bonus. Then they release a game riddled with bugs. And now this.
I can't help but feel none of this would have been nearly as bad if THQ were still publishing.
So, for that, thanks deep silver.
4A were one of the best developers around. Now, for all their talent, they are ♥♥♥♥, releasing useless DLC and broken games
