How scary is this game?
I have been watching a lets play from Theradbrad on youtube and hes about 13 parts in i believe.
And i find it realy scary, but i think i could handle that kinda scary if i play with alot of breaks.
So now my question is, how much more scarrier does it get later on in the game?
dead space 2-3 i could handle, with ALOT of breaks and playing during bright daylight hours only!
yes m a ♥♥♥♥♥.

DS 1-2 is more scary. Metro is not scary but it is tense. All because of the sounds. On the surface its great. So if you can handle the DS series then there is no problem at all.

This is more of an atmospheric "scare" (few jump scares similar to Dead space) but a lot of it is about being tense. Things like running really low on ammo or filters while running to safety. Personally i found only one place creepy, the airplane, so you may want to lookup on that if you are unsure (don't want to go into details on it because it may be a small spoiler)

yeah I'd agree it's more about the tension (which is does brilliantly). it's creeped the hell out of me in places.

Well, I am one of those people who get scared super easily. I don't like horror at all. But this game is just the right amount of it. There are some parts where I really got creeped out, but it's not too scary. Really, I'm a ♥♥♥♥♥, but this game is easy to handle.

Flock of birds made me jump last night ;_;

But nah it's not jumpy really it's more about being sucked into the story and atmosphere.

later into the game is where it becomes more tense.

the atmosphere is like beeing there for real :D, some moments ofc are scary but mostly the atmosphere give u chills

The game has an eerie atmosphere, which really helps it's overall vibe. I'd say this game has more jump scares than anything else. Enemies love to sneak up on you and pop out at you from holes in the wall/ground.

But like NEX said, it gets a lot more tense later on. They did a good job though.

Very tense game, but very far from being scary...

Not scary, neither is Dead Space. But as the commentor above me said, it is very tense and exciting.
Scary games are Silent Hill, Forbidden Siren, Darkseed 1/2, Prisoner of Ice/Shadow of the Comet and a few more maybe.

Yeah i remember playing silent hill, played for an hour, never ever ever ever played it again. gave me nightmares :/
And MCZ I found dead space scary as hell, the first one being the scariest and the last being the least scary. hell i cant even watch certain horror movies! And im 25 years old lmao /shame
