Windowed Mode?

I do not know what I'm doing wrong but i cannot play this game in windowed mode.
I changed users.cfg r_fullscreen to off and made it read-only, still no reaction. What am i doing wrong?

I've got the answer to this problem. Kinda simple, if you think about it.
The users.cfg in the folder is the wrong one, go to users -> your name -> AppData -> Local -> 4A Games -> Metro LL -> lots of numbers -> user.cfg (!) This is the one you need to change to read-only and where you have to make "r_fullscreen" off.

my 4A Games doesn't have any folder :(
dunno what happend.

The only user.cfg I found is in steamapps folder

I did change that file to read only O_O

I FIGURED OUT HOW TO GO INTO WINDOWS MODE IF YOU CANT LOCATE THE CONFIG FILE IN APPDATA/USER
Press the start(Windows) button in the corner of the desktop
In the search bar type in "%LOCALAPPDATA%" (No quotation marks). No search results will show up until you type the whole thing, so type every letter and percent sign.
press enter
Go to "4A Games" press "Metro LL"
open "User"
Change "r_fullscreen on" to "r_fullscreen off"
BAM!
You did it.

hmmmmmmm got a problem after it is windowed fps gone crazy even if its vsync on. :(

This didnt help at all.......I want fullscreen, not 60% screen -_-
