Is there any way to holster/sling your weapon if you are out of combat?

Or at least not having it pointed at your companions?

I will admit that this issue doesn't come up much in the Metro but I find it strange to be following a companion and have my weapon pointed in his general direction.

It was nice that in Skyrim/Fallout, you would move a little faster if you didn't have your weapon out.

Here it is, 2019 and playing Metro 2033 Redux and STILL we can't holster the damn thing :P

End of 2023 10 year before metro 2033 and STILL it is humanly impossible to holester your weapon...... feel like it's not even a concept. Feel like we need a doctorate just to attempt to understand such a potential. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
