anyone else bothered by Artyom's voice?
they said its the same guy doing it...but now he sounds completely different. in the first game he sounded unique, but now it feels like you're a different character altogether.

His balls... raised? I preferr gruff Artyom... Rather than normal artyom... It's like in Metro 2033 we had Artyom: Snake Pliskin.... 0_o. His voice got... younger, and less... Mantastic. Love the game though ;)

yep, one of the first things I noticed. I guess they wanted him to sound like a man this time.

I only play the russian language audio (FYI)... Huge difference in the loading screen text...

Like they wanted him to sound more 'believable'... But I believe in the previous version of gruff Artyom :)

I'll have to try english mode just to see... (I'm one of those poor souls dealing with the rez issue). I have to say, it seems like the original Russian voice actor for artyom appears in the beginning of the game, in the Ranger base, voicing-over some of the extras. This new voice... Same guy? If so, he's very talented, because he sounds totally differenched.

Put on russian voice acting with english subs, its how the game is meant to be played. The Russian voice actors are much better than the english ones.

last light is dissapointing compared to 2033, 2033 was so freaking good, last light dosnt feel the same. it dosnt feel as russian enough to me.
