Metro 2034 translated!

Not sure if this has already been posted but there has been a rough translation of the novel Metro 2034 translated to english (and spanish I think)

Anyone asking for Metro 2033 (the novel) I suggest either paying for the physical copy, or finding it free online, that is how it was originally published and I'm sure there legal free copies out there.

Wait, 2034 hasn´t yet been officially translated to english yet? Happy to hear there is a fan made translation and hopefully in time 2035 gets big enough elsewhere to get both of these official english releases. Even if I can be extremely happy with the finnish translation of 2034 which is all I needed.

I just need to find out how to convert it to ebook, so it's more easily read on the go. 2035 is scheduled to have multiple official translations.

2034 has currently never been officially physically published nor officially translated in English... last time I checked 6 months ago. Nor has there been any announcement of it since.

I'm still waiting for translations of the other books in the metro world. Like the one where some residents of the Moscow Metro system build a make-shift plane and fly to St. Petersburg. That sounded like a cool one and it was even referenced in the game.

This verison of 2034 has had numerous revisions since it's inception, now updated enough for the translator to be satisfied. Many community members have attested that this is the best translation to date. I wouldn't know personally, since I cannot read the original russian version.

I find it interesting how the creator wrote it and delivered it for free.
now copies are damn expensive.. anyone seen the hardcover of metro 2033 to be 999 USD in AMAZON??

Hardcovers of 2033 are super rare (probably printed at one time. in a limited amount), that is why they are expensive. Softcover copies are like $7 (what I paid) on amazon or whatnot, even now the official digital version of 2033 is FREE online, just ask anyone for a copy of the .pdf file (erm, I have it).

The person who did this translation was just a fan who knew english and the published language. I think the translator is from Germany and translated from the original russian print (I could be wrong, it is on his website). He spent countless hours translating the book sentence by sentence, phrase by phrase, word by word.
