Why have I no reflection?
In the brothel when I walk past the hookers....I have no reflection. I know I'm mysterious but it doesn't make sense.....did the developers just overlook this?

Artyom is a faceless and mostly voiceless hero(protagonist might be a better word), it could be an oversight or it could be on purpose so you never see his face.

Also it's kind of rare to have reflections of yourself in games, there's only a couple games that I know of that have self reflections.

Most of the time the lack of a reflection on in-game mirrors is due to the skipping of some minor programming. The same goes for not able to see your own feet. All down to the game developers' decisions.

You are not supposed to see Artyoms face in the game.

Except you don't get to see the rest of his body either, which I agree can be awkward. One thing 4A could have done was had Artyom's face half masked by cloth at all times. This ain't a customizable RPG so that is possible.

Yeh I accept you don't see his face but to just have me as a ghost is a bit wierd

I see my reflection in almost every game I've played hence why I found this wierd btw

Maybe Artyom is a vampire.

you can see artyom in the "Anna" mission in the extra missions when you play as anna . At the beginning you can see his entire body and his eyes but with a mask on .

Could it be that the mirror is actually a copy of the models and not an actual mirror affect, like some games have faked mirrors? Would require syncing up the models in this case so maybe not.
