irregular FPS stutter

I get 60+ fps for the first few minutes, but after few minute , fps instantly dip to under 10 fps, unplayable. It also happen right after shooting guns

Quiting to Main menu and click continue the game will raise fps to 60+ , but after a few minutes, the fps will crawl under 10 again.

I have gtx1050ti which I can play Metro exodus on medium setting.

Yep me too RX580 get 60 fps then as soon as shooting framerate plummets. Yet GPU often shows 0% load aND cpu 12%.

Disable SSA and go to C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Local\4A Games\Metro LL\110000111b7c02f then find "r_blur_level 1" and change to "r_blur_level 0".
Also for higher fov go to "r_base_fov" and enter any number up to 90

for me nothing works, disabled physx and ssaa do nothing for me, im using intel i5 gtx1660

turn off CPU hyperthreading in BIOS settings. that helped me fix stuttering for both Metro 2033 redux and Metro Last Light redux
