Game keeps minimizing

Got this game a while ago, and I got it working a couple of days ago. Worked like a charm. Then all of a sudden the game minimizes every time I try and open it. I hear about two seconds of sound from the intro, see nothing but a black screen and then its back to my desktop. This repeats every time I try to reopen it from the taskbar.

I'm using an EVGA gtx 760 sc, which I think might be the cause somehow.

I've tried the benchmark tool, and the same thing happens, unless I lower my texture quality to High or lower. I tried this with the main game, but nothing's changed no matter how much I lower things using GeForce Experience, as I can't access the in-game settings. Any ideas anyone?
