Hikaru: Book1 bug?

Hi, I'm not sure if this is a bug, but I can't find anything about it so I wanted to check.

In Hikaru's Book 1, when I get to the screen where all options are question marks, any option I choose just shows some random characters.
Is it supposed to be like this?
I'll leave the screenshots for one of the options.

Hey, I'm playing for the first time the Hikaru's book 1, and get the bad ending, 'one with the void', and thar thing happened too. I don't know why this happens. And the 'narrator' looks like the 'god of chaos' talking to the main character.

After clicking in the 2nd answer, I was taken to a other place aaaand... I was right, the god o chaos just appeared. *lauging in nervousness*
