I'm not sure! I think it didn't make sense with the previous line? Or I'm a derp! My brain wants to read it as "Somehow, it doesn't feel safe until we're inside."

If I recall correctly, she was saying in reference to the previous line that they didn't talk the whole way. So it's "Somehow, it doesn't feel safe to [talk]" but the talk was implied so it's probably not exactly proper grammar but it sounds more natural with an average person's thoughts to me than repeating "Somehow didn't feel safe to talk until we're inside...Hopefully that makes sense. Sometimes for the dialogue to feel more natural I won't always go with the grammatically correct thing though sometimes I either miss it or simply am unaware of it.

Also, in the future, to anyone reporting typos and things, please let us know what chapters they are from so we can easily find them.

I'm not sure... should make notes on these to myself when I take them because I can't remember now why it bothered me, haha. Sorry! And, yeah, I'm a bit of a grammar freak. It doesn't help when your mother-in-law was an English teacher. @_@ Looking forward to reading more! 8D

When it comes to narrative grammar, I would like people to be extremely strict with it. But if it's the character saying something in a certain way, it could be intentional (since people don't speak or even type grammatically correct). So it's welcome but that could be why I don't change things or make certain choices. Either way, looking forward to sharing more with you and seriously appreciate all the help.

I definitely understand that! And sometimes the way one person writes something is not the same way another person reads it. Doesn't mean it is inherently wrong either way, just different interpretations. Thanks for all of the attentiveness! (8
