( P.S. Recently, I had a dream I playing the new game! :O
uh creek???????????? uhhhhhh
Amber, Saphire, Jasper, Jupiter, Sandstone, Graphite, Rust, Sand, Moon, Walker, Valley, Evergreen, Lichen, Mossy/moss, Autumn, Eclipse, River, Estuary, Comet, Fortune, Storm, Hurricane, Tornado, Blue-rock, Sprinter, Pepper, Shiver, Runner, Rim
Double names:
Yellow-Grass, Amber-Valley, Fall-Forest, Shining-Lake, Mountain-Ridge, Mountain-Top, Cave-Dweller, Shallow-Pool
Okay well have fun with those haha I got a bit carried away. Great game though guys ^^
Amethyst Mountain would have a gem theme (e.g Geode, Sapphire, Fluorite, Ruby, Peridot, Zicron
Slough Creek would have areas-similar-to-swamp names (e.g Marsh, Mire, Moor, Bog, Fen, Quag)
Not sure for Tower-fall, but maybe it could be based on the colours of the landscape. If you plan to give the map primarily green grass or green trees, you could do names like Sage, Juniper, Basil, Fern, Prasine and Verdant.
Keep up the great work! It's looking amazing!!
Some examples:
Blunttooth Herd
Rainwater Herd
Redrock Herd
Amberstone Herd
Brindletree Herd
Suncedar Herd
Velvetgorse Herd
Brownhoof Herd
Etc. Etc.
Flowering Lichen Herd
Darkwoods Herd
Plains Herd
Dry River Herd
Snowdrop Herd
I could imagine a wolf would care about hunting a specific herd. For example if a wolf pack knows from earlier encounters there are wounded or weak or young individuals in one elk group they might be determined to follow this specific herd. But again, I am not a wolf scientist to have any proof of this theory.
My opinion: I think I could do well without elk herd names.
P.S. What about bison herds, bear families etc.? Should they also get names. Don't think so.
