Family Tree

(Got inspired to help others from seeing a post like this on Niche. Sadly I lost the post but wanted to help others with their family trees of WQ)

So this Wolf Quest does not have a family tree and I am unsure if anniversary edition will have one or not but! I would like to help everyone create a family tree.
So first I went to

(It might say you need to make an account. Just make it but don't do any trials but before you do make an account follow these steps first).

This is the first page you will see.

Scroll down and you will see this.
Click Family Tree Builder.

Scroll down and press download and should end up on this page.

It should automatically download if not just press "restart the download." Now you just wait for it to download and once it's done click it open. Now just go through the download and soon you should see this page.

Click cancel and press new.

This should be what you see now.

You should click "I'm part of this family tree" to remove yourself from the tree as it automatically checks it. Make sure the check is not there. After your going to want to press "create new family tree"
Name the project then click next. This tab should appear.

Now click "Sync project with a family on MyHeritage.com" because it's going to have that automatically checked. You don't want to sync it at all so make sure it's unchecked.
For everything else just press next. Soon you should get to this page and press add new person.

Choose any gender you want and fill it out as you see fit the best part is you don't even need to add dates. From there just build up your family tree! The rest bellow is a few tips I'm going to put to help you out.


SAVE OFTEN
You should save before you exit or all the work you done will be lost and there is no way to get it back. Also save after finishing a person just in case your computer decides to crash.

NOTES FOR RP
Head on over to your new person you just created and hit edit

From here you see this.

You can add children, spouse and siblings. As for Relation, Charts, and Reports just ignore those. Now your going to want to hit "Edit Details" and go to notes there you will type your stories or add important facts about them.

DELETING A PERSON
Press edit then go to person and you should see delete.

Thanks for posting! I currently do not have any WQ characters with family trees, but I'm sure that people who are trying to make a family tree for their wolf could definitely find this helpful.
