Account Issues both in-game and on wolfquest.org
I'm spending literally ten minutes trying to figure out why my account in-game which I registered on (which I cannot log out of now) won't let me log into the official site. I couldn't chat in public multiplayer to begin with, then I tried logging in with the account that I made through the game and it keeps saying that I cannot log in and it's making me do the CAPTCHA or whatever it's called.

Things I cannot do right now and need help with, please.
-Log in with my account in-game and on the site, I believe I have two different accounts, both of which I cannot log into simutaniously.
-Chatting in multiplayer

Account Compatibility
WolfQuest 2.7 game accounts and community forum // 2.5 game accounts each operate on completely separate systems, therefore creating an account on one database won't give you an account for the other. You'd have to create an account for the other system to be able to login there to make use of it.

The team did tweak some error messages and the registration message, shown here-

Logging out of the Steam edition
By default, logging into a WQ 2.7 game account on Steam will tether it with your Steam ID. Logging out from one account to another requires you to contact the WolfQuest Team via e-mail. There's no manual process allowing you to do this yourself. If you own the https://eduweb.itch.io/wolfquest, Humble Bundle[www.humblebundle.com] or any of the mobile editions of WolfQuest, you'd be able to log in and out any time you pleased with any compatible accounts.

Re: Chatting in multiplayer
If this is something you've been experiencing since registering your 2.7 account, you may have specified that you were "younger than 13". If the change is both recent and sudden, you may have received an infraction. If this is the case, you should have received an e-mail from manager@wolfquest.org — check the e-mail address associated with your WQ account. If there is no e-mail, I believe you'll want to get in touch with the team.

I recieved no e-mail. How to do I get in touch with the team? Also, I never specified I was younger than 13, I put 1990 for the date of birth.

If the "chatting in multiplayer" issue you mentioned does indeed mean you are forced to use phrase chat, then you should send an e-mail to manager@wolfquest.org with an inquiry if your account was previously capable of using text chat in public games // if games you see in the lobby are all phrase chat.

They aren't phrased, it's people chatting, but I cannot chat or phrase I don't believe.

As Nightangelwolf says, the WQ website forum uses a different account system -- and it'll tell you that if you try to login with a nonexistent username/password: "You have specified an incorrect username. Please check your username and try again. Note that user accounts created in the new game (WQ 2.7) will not work here on the WQ forum -- you must register a new account."

(Why different systems? Well, we have over 800,000 accounts in the forum, some dating back to 2007, and it was implausible to import them all into the new game account system. And the game accounts is also one of our few anti-piracy measures.)

You can definitely be logged into both the game and the forum at the same time.

In multiplayer, press the C key to open the chat panel for typing. (I know that the Enter key is now standard for that, but we've kept the original key binding. We did recently try to add Enter as an alternate key, but we already have Enter hooked up to close the various mission popups, and that got messy due to the legacy UI system in WQ. 2.7. We should be able to make that work better in WQ3.)

Alright, thanks for telling me how to type loboLoco. Good luck on the game and take it easy man!
