Stop the game from ending after gigablast

I'm playing freeroam and when I try a gigablast and a city block goes kaboom, suddenly the game fades out and it restarts. is there a way or mod in order to stop it from happening?

Yea the dev decided to let the game die, and didn't want you enjoying yourself and destroyed the replay value.

Pro tip: Keep using gigablast to murder the humans during story mode. Do it about 15 to 20 times. A special surprise unlocks.
